About us

Industrial Sun features a world-class team of renewable energy industry veterans with a distinguished track record of success.

Together, the Industrial Sun team has participated in the development of gigawatts of energy projects throughout the United States that are either in operation or currently under construction – representing billions of dollars of investment. As a values-aligned partner, we believe in responsibly developed solar projects that provide positive impacts to the environment, local economy, customers and landowners.

As a result of his efforts, more than $2 billion in funds have been successfully invested in operational renewable energy projects, with enough clean energy generated to power the equivalent of over 500,000 American homes. Earlier in his career, he was a General Counsel and land management executive in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Gungoll earned a B.A., with distinction, from Yale and holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
